Personality: This kid's got some spunk! Incredibly energetic and outgoing, Cadby could brighten up anyone's day. He has high hopes for all, and extremely determined when he does form goals. He's also quite the gentleman, but can easily screw up any tender moment with his obnoxious personality or overbearing gentlemanli...ness. He's a very proud person, and although new at this whole knight business, he has quite the chivalry!


History: Born to a blacksmith and his wife, Cadby and his family resided outside [Driftveil City] before our young spunky hero decided to make the trek to become a knight! His family raised different kinds of ground/rock type pokemon that helped dig for different ores and material in the various caves around [Driftveil] to create magificent weapons and armor. Cadby was the one usually responsible for gathering up these materials, so his father could work with them. He met his first pokemon when he was young. Cadby always worked with his father's excadrill when one day digging, the excadrill accidentally unearthed a dunsparce, causing it some harm. Cadby took it in, nursed it back to health, and when the day came where he and excadrill returned it back to its home, it didn't want to leave. Cadby left it at that, and went back to work with digging and collecting. The persistent dunsparce showed off its digging prowess, inspiring Cadby to take the pokemon in as his own, instead of borrowing his father's.

They formed a very close friendship, and for a while, the family business was booming and life was good. For years, Cadby continued to aide his father in harvesting proper metals, ores, etc., with the help of his dunsparce friend, Jori, but he grew anxious. He was getting older, the prospect of having a woman in his life was creeping up in his adolescent mind as well. He's been goofy, attempting to impress the ladies with silly sword tricks, or ambitiously growing out a manly beard to wow them as well. An opportunity struck-! Word reached the town that fighting had begun on the borders, and there was even a possibility of war. To be even more impressive than he already was, Cadby decided to head for Castelia to train to become a Knight. He has the bravery! The brawn! --And quite the coming beard that'll only show any future enemies he means business! That'll impress the ladies!


Oskar, the riolu was a pup of the Lancasters' watchdogs, was given to him by his mother and father, who encouraged to take along with him on his journey. Along their journey, they came across the third pokemon companion to this knightly crew, an Axew. Drawn to Cadby's charismatic personality, the axew quickly became friends with them and accompanied them on their journey. Cadby was excited for this, of course, surely a knight with a dragon would be impressive!

The four finally reached Castelia after quite the trek, and are ready to defend the beautiful region of Unova, if she should call for it! ... (and of course, maybe sweep a lovely lady off her feet someday!)

Pokemon Info:
Jori the Dunsparce: She's pretty shy and very attached to Cadby. She of course, is Cadby's best friend and reliable battling partner. Besides Dig, her attacks are very direct and ruthless. Such a shy pokemon needs to prove her worth!

Oskar the Riolu: The trusty man's best friend. He carries that same energetic spunk that Cadby has, and he's always willing to stand on the front lines. His only flaw is the need for constant commands, very rarely does he act on his own in battle.

Abelio the Axew: Extremely competitive against male pokemon. He's a bit nonchalant to battle girls, perhaps the gentlemanly behavior that Cadby expresses to women is rubbing off on Abelio.
